CURRICULUM

At Lily’s Day Nursery we plan and prepare activities daily for the children to enjoy and learn from. These activities will meet each child’s needs, interest and requirements in the early years foundation stage. 

The Early years foundation stage is a guidance which sets the standards for learning and development and care for the children in our care. We believe all children in our care are remarkable individuals and plan to further their learning and development through play. 

The activities will be set out and focus on prime areas of learning:

     - communication and language
     - physical development
     - personal, social and emotional development

These areas are the extended through four specific areas:

     - literacy
     - mathematics
     - understanding the world
     - expressive arts and design
