Welcome to the Lily's Day Nursery website.

We would like to welcome you to our Nursery and to inform you of some background and other useful information about our setting.

Lily's Day Nursery has been established since 1998 and now provides full day care for children aged 3 months to 8 years old.  It is based in Ridgemond Training but is a separate unit which is open and available to all.  The Nursery is located on the ground floor and has wheelchair access to the main building and double doors to the Nursery. 

The children are split into five rooms to cater for the different ages. As your child grows, they will move up to the next room where the care role is less intensive as they begins to develop independence, and the educational role becomes more central.  All children, in line with government legislation and guidance, learn through play which forms the foundations of all future learning cross-curricula.  Children naturally play and and they do not make a distinction between work and play.
